This service centers on the theme of giving thanks for country, church, and children. Each of the three sections features a litany, meditation, and prayer that involve a number of participants from the congregation.
Dr. Pete Post is a retired professor of special education at Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights, Illinois. Previously he taught and coached high school students with various disabilities at Elim Christian School. He still relishes playing Sinterklaas at Elim’s annual Dutch Festival.
